The NIU Opener tournament is a 3-game guarantee played on Turf at Northern Illinois University and other fields on campus.

There is also a gate fee of $7.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Senior Citizens and children under 15 years old. We provide all umpires, baseballs, and awards for our tournaments.
Any team that lives 90 miles or more away from the tournament is required to pay an additional $150 as we are letting you pick your own hotels instead of the hotel company. Parents are telling me that they are finding rooms $50 cheaper than the hotel company provides. This way you will pay less than us using the hotel company.
